The ceremony is estimated to take approximately two hours.
Who is hosting this year’s BAFTAs?
Returning to host in 2025 after making his debut last year is the uber-talented David Tennant.
“We couldn’t be happier that David Tennant is returning to host the EE BAFTA Film Awards in 2025,” Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, said in December.
“He is an absolute pleasure to work with, and his performance [in 2024] was simply outstanding – warm, witty, whip-smart, and with a delightful touch of mischief.

“It is a privilege to share Britain’s biggest celebration of film with TV audiences worldwide, and to recognise the extraordinary creativity of those who power the British and global film industry.”
Tennant will not be the only famous face comprising the BAFTAs ceremony with Wicked’s Jeff Goldblum set to play the piano during the In Memoriam segment of the show.
In addition, Take That will perform their hit song ‘Greatest Day,’ which opens the incredible Anora, nominated for seven BAFTAs this year.
What films have been nominated for BAFTAs?
Conclave is the front-runner at this year’s BAFTAs with 12 nominations, followed by Netflix’s Emilia Perez with 11 and The Brutalist with nine.
Next up are Wicked, Anora and Dune: Part Two with seven nominations each.
A Complete Unknown and Kneecap have six nominations each with The Substance and Nosferatu receiving five nominations apiece.
This year will see a new awards category in the form of Best Children’s and Family Film, where Flow, Kensuke’s Kingdom, The Wild Robot and Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl have been nominated.
Warwick Davis’ career to be celebrated at the BAFTAs
Warwick Davis is set to receive the BAFTA fellowship, celebrating his incredible contribution to the world of film and television thanks to his works in the likes of the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises as well as the incredible comedy-docuseries Life’s Too Short.
“The Fellowship, to me, embodies the spirit of inclusivity, creativity, and collaboration that BAFTA stands for,” said Davis.
“This recognition is not just about the body of work I’ve contributed but also about the people who’ve stood by me and the audiences who have made this journey worthwhile.
“I accept this Fellowship in honour of everyone living with dwarfism or any form of difference, reminding us that our uniqueness can be our greatest asset.
