Premier League betting tips: It’s not complicated - Tottenham will beat Arsenal
The international break is over and the Premier League returns with a selection of tasty tussles culminating in Tottenham v Arsenal on Sunday.
We were mildly more interested in the two England games in the Nations League, due to the fact there’s a new bald-headed boss in town in the shape of Lee Carsley.
And although the Three Lions racked up two impressive wins under the interim manager, it still doesn’t get the blood pumping like a Premier League weekend.
The Bookie Basher also took a breather while the top flight took a step back, but he’s back from Benidorm and Ibiza, where we shudder to think what shenanigans he got up to.

Southampton v Manchester United
I’ve been on a stag do to Benidorm folks and before that had a week in Ibiza so I’m mega fragile. Indeed Alicante Airport Burger King after a four-day bender will absolutely destroy your conviction in a loving God.
But we move on, and there is much to like here in lumping both teams to score.
Like many, I am not sold on this current Red Devils team but Southampton have not beaten Manchester United at home since 2003, a simpler time when Avril Lavigne was telling us all it’s ‘Complicated‘.
Nothing f***ing complicated about the pick here. BTTS reeks of win. Bosh.

Aston Villa v Everton
Without much fanfare the Toffees have sunk to the bottom of the Premier League after losing their first three on the bounce.
With this in mind, it’s probably not the best time to visit the Villa, a team who have won five of their last seven matches against the men from Merseyside.
In truth Everton have been a team in genuine decline for some time, but could genuinely go down this year given that their squad is so short in terms of quality and depth.
Hope is the last thing to die obviously, and part of me clings to that hope, but I have to be a realist as well when I say Everton are shit, and every part of my essence is screaming to lump on the home win in Saturday’s tea-time kick off.

Bournemouth v Chelsea
The Cherries are no mugs at home (lost one of their last eight home league games) and Chelsea’s start under Enzo Maresca has been pretty erratic.
They looked great beating Wolves 6-2, less so in that 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace, a result that will have ruined many a good Acca the other week.
Bournemouth were dead and buried after 86 minutes against Everton, but somehow came back to win 3-2 - a result that defied logic really.
They could be good enough to take a point off Chelsea here, and I’m having a little go on another 1-1 result.

Tottenham v Arsenal
The first north London derby of the season and the layers fancy Arsenal here… just.
However the Gunners spaffed their lines while heavy odds-on shots to beat Brighton last time out in a game Declan Rice was controversially sent off in.
England star Rice will be a huge miss in midfield this Sunday, and Spurs have some real quality in the middle of the park in James Maddison.
The Lilywhites had 20 shots last time out against Newcastle, so 2/1 about the home win here is too big. In fact it’s nuttier than a squirrel’s turd.

Wolves v Newcastle United
Wolves looked shite in that 6-2 shellacking against Chelsea, and were also poor in drawing 1-1 against Notts Forest.
The Toon have started the season really solidly, and are also unbeaten in five matches against Wolves.
Skybet go 21/20 about the away win, and this Sunday is another time to trust in Eddie Howe and his magic Mags.
