Who has been cast in the Disney live-action remake of ‘Tangled’?
Rising Australian actress Teagan Croft, who is most commonly known for her role as Raven in the TV series Titans, is set to play the role of Rapunzel in the live-action remake of Tangled.
The male lead of Flynn Rider has gone to Milo Manheim, who has worked with Disney before.
Manheim is the lead in the Disney Channel movie franchise Zombies, and has a perfect look for the role of Rider.
The crew behind the new ‘Tangled’
Michael Gracey, the director of Better Man and The Greatest Showman, is set to direct the film.
The original has heavy musical elements, and it seems as though the live action will be following suit with Gracey in the director’s chair.
Kristen Burr, who worked as a producer on Disney’s 2021 live-action adaptation Cruella, is set to take that credit here as well.
The script was written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who is known for Do Revenge, Thor: Love and Thunder and 2025’s I Know What You Did Last Summer.
