If you’re a fan of these TV shows, you’re in luck – not only are they critically acclaimed, they follow the trend of turning almost anything into a podcast.
From Film News Blitz writer and podcast enthusiast Kara Leigh, here are some of your favourite TV shows that are also podcasts, so you can enjoy your favourite stories in a completely different format.
The Office | Three Different Podcasts!
The hit show The Office became a global sensation that stands to this day as one of the most meme-able shows.
From the show, you can listen to not one, but three TV show podcasts.
1. Office Ladies
Hosted by Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey (Angela), this show shares juicy behind-the-scenes details and memories from the set.
When writing this, they had just released their 315th episode.
That’s 114 more episodes of this podcast than episodes of the show itself!
2. The Office Deep Dive
Hosted by Brian Baumgartner (Kevin), this show featured long-form interviews with the individuals behind the show.
That includes creators, writers, and cast members from the USA and UK version.
The show has 65 episodes which are around 45 minutes to over an hour long, so that’s a lot of The Office content.
3. Out of Office – The UK Office Podcast
Self-described as a podcast for the “original and best” of The Office, this one is for the loyal fans of the British version of the show.
There are 48 episodes featuring watchalong commentary, interviews with the cast and crew of the show as well as superfans.

The Traitors | The Traitors Uncloaked Podcast
The traitors is arguably the biggest TV cultural phenomenon we’ve had in the UK for years, inspiring multiple seasons of backstabbing, deceit and charismatic hosts.
The finale to last year’s Celebrity Traitors had more than 11 million viewers.
It’s even turned into a board game so there’s no surprise it would become a tv show podcast, too.
Ed Gamble hosts “exclusive unseen content” from the castle with the banished and murdered players.
You’ve been warned, however: this contains nothing but spoilers.
Parks and Recreation | Parks and Recollection
From IMDb, this show is about: “the absurd antics of an Indiana town’s public officials as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.”
This one catapulted multiple acting careers into a Hollywood trajectory, including Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza and Nick Offerman.
The podcast is hosted by cast member Jim O’Heir (Jerry Gergich) along with writer and producer Greg Levine.
They rewatch the series from the beginning, interviewing castmates you’re likely to recognise regardless of whether you’ve seen the show or not.
Succession | HBO’s Official Succession Podcast
The critically-acclaimed show was inspired by the dynamics of the Murdoch legacy.
Now, it inspires others like Netflix’s House of Guinness, BBC’s Industry and yes, a podcast.
This official podcast dropped immediately after every episode of the flagship HBO series.
It features exclusive debriefs with the show’s creator, Jesse Armstrong, along with cast members like Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook to analyse the popular TV show on a more detailed level.

New Girl | Welcome to Our Show
New Girl is about the young woman Jess who moves into an apartment loft with three single men after a bad break up.
According to IMDb, “Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her – most of the time.”
Zooey Deschanel (Jess), Hannah Simone (Cece), and Lamorne Morris (Winston) all host as they rewatched the sitcom and invited others from the set.
It’s a place for everyone to share stories and reveal “never before told behind-the-scenes escapades”.
Scrubs | Fake Doctors, Real Friends
According to Buzzfeed, the sitcom about intern John “J.D.” Dorian who learns “the ways of medicine, friendship and life” was actually filmed in an abandoned hospital.
Not set in an abandoned hospital is the TV show podcast where Zach Braff (J.D.) and Donald Faison (Turk) host a rewatch podcast where they answer fan questions and break down episodes.
They also invite co-stars and creator Bill Lawrence to discuss the ins and outs of making the show.
Avatar: The Last Airbender | Avatar: Braving the Elements
Not last nor least, this is the official companion podcast from Nickelodeon.
Janet Varney (Korra) and Dante Basco (Zuko) host.
They recap the entire universe (Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra) while breaking down “lore, animation techniques, and interviewing voice actors and creators”.
Admittedly, listening to any breakdown of a show isn’t a great idea if you’re afraid of spoilers.
However, whether you’re looking for juicy behind-the-scenes lore or a deeper analysis of your favourite show, these podcasts are a perfect way to take them wherever you go.
