Mindy Kaling’s new Hulu show, Not Suitable for Work, is set to release on June 2.
The show will follow five career-obsessed friends in their twenties living in Manhattan as they try to survive life, love, and everything in between.
As creator and executive producer, Kaling created the show in tandem with showrunner Charlie Grandy, who has previously worked with Kaling on The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Office and The Mindy Project.

When does the show premiere?
Not Suitable for Work premieres on June 2 with three episodes on Hulu and Disney+.
After the initial premiere, two episodes will drop weekly until the finale on June 23.
Season one of the show will consist of eight 30–minute episodes.
Who is in the cast?
The main cast includes Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin and Nicholas Duvernay.
Jay Ellis (Insecure) will round out the main cast.
Ella Hunt is AJ Pascarelli
British actress Ella Hunt portrays AJ Pascarelli, a first-year analyst working at a prestigious New York investment bank called Fisher Stassen.
Ella Hunt is best known for her portrayal of Sue in Dickinson, where she appeared alongside Hailee Steinfeld.
Avantika is Abhinaya (Abby) Chilukuri
Avantika is cast as Abhinaya (Abby) Chilukuri, AJ’s best friend and roommate.
Her character is the assistant to Vanessa Hsu (played by Constance Wu) and is described as fashion–obsessed.
Avantika has appeared in multiple well-known projects including 2024’s Mean Girls, Tarot, and the Telugu–language film Brahmotsavam.
Will Angus is Davis Beau Bradley Barrett III
TikTok star Will Angus plays Davis Beau Bradley Barrett III, a high–energy finance bro who just wants to love and be loved.
Davis is one of AJ’s co–workers and develops an immediate crush on her.
Angus is best known for his comedic presence on the online comedy sketch show, Almost Friday TV.
Jack Martin is Josh Teitelbaum
Jack Martin will portray Josh Teitelbaum, a nepo baby trying to make his way into the entertainment industry.
Reluctantly, with help from his father, he begins working on The Wes Dryden Show, where he struggles to be taken seriously.
He recently appeared in Pizza Movie alongside Caleb Hearon, Gaten Matarazzo, and Daniel Radcliffe.
Nicholas Duvernay is Kel Washington
Kel Washington, played by Nicholas Duvernay, is a med school student who is seemingly terrified of everything that being a medical professional entails.
The character is described as an anxious medical student struggling with school whilst plotting his acting big break.
Duvernay also appeared in The White Lotus season three as Zion, and Bel–Air as Drew.
Jay Ellis is Bill Gibson
Rounding out the main cast is Jay Ellis as Bill Gibson, AJ’s boss at Fisher Stassen who she develops a crush on.
Best known for his role as Martin “Lawrence” Walker in Insecure, he has also appeared in another Mindy Kaling project, Running Point.

Where to watch the trailer and series
The trailer was released on Hulu’s YouTube channel on May 8 and racked up millions of views in just a couple of days.
The show will premiere on Hulu or Hulu on Disney+ in the US and Disney+ internationally on June 2.
